How to document the role of DIRECTOR
|
The artistic process of taking a screenplay and producing it into a film starts and ends with the director. The director is in charge of the overall vision of the production. From theme, to shot types, cinematic language, to the development and execution of the film's mis-en-scene, the director leads the team to achieve the actualization of a previsualized design. The director is a visionary, a leader, an advocate, a cheerleader, and has a firm understanding of all aspects within the cinematic process.
